Over the past year, the W21C has installed a number of SMART Boards on Unit 36. We are also working with SMART Technologies to develop innovative solutions to support communication and collaboration needs in the new W21C Research and Innovation Centre and among the W21C's diverse community. The Research and Innovation Centre currently has two SMART Boards with a plan to incorporate additional state-of the-art equipment. |
The W21C and
Clarity.ca Inc have recently embarked on yet another exciting research and development partnership to study and develop Web 2.0 technologies to support the unique W21C community. This project is funded by
Alberta Ingenuity (now part of
Alberta Innovates) through a two-year research stipend for
Julie Stromer through the
R&D Associates program. This online community will explore various technologies, tools, and platforms including the SMART Boards available in the various collaborative spaces.
