Associate Professor Phillippa Poole BSc, MBChB, FRACP is Head, Medical Education Division, School of Medicine, University of Auckland, New Zealand, a general physician at Auckland City Hospital, and a past president of the Internal Medicine Society of Australia and New Zealand.
