W21C worked with Calgary company, AnimationLeader Inc. to identify, through market assessment, market validation, and needs assessment methodologies, where the current challenges and opportunities are for innovating physiotherapist/patient communications and providing patients with interactive mobile app-based support for completing their assigned stretches and exercises between clinic sessions.
The company won third place in the 2015 W21C Innovation Academy and competed at the 2016 Global Healthcare Innovation Academy.
