Allison completed her MSc in Health Research Methodology at McMaster University in 2017 and will be starting her PhD in Community Health Sciences this fall at the University of Calgary, specializing in Medical Education. Allison has spent the last 6 years working in research at McMaster University, where she coordinated research and quality improvement programming for medical students and residents within the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine. Previously she completed a BSc in Life Sciences at McMaster University in 2011. Her scholarly interests include research methods, health professions education, quality improvement, and patient safety. At W21C Allison supports the education portfolio with Dr. Nishan Sharma.
