Hasham recently earned his Bachelor of Community Rehabilitation degree from the University of Calgary’s Cumming School of Medicine. Hasham has vast experience researching and working with the vulnerable population in Calgary. His previous research includes working at the Endocrine Diabetes clinic at the Alberta’s Children Hospital, Healthy Child Uganda, Calgary Homeless Foundation and various research projects on homelessness conducted through the University. Hasham has over three years of front line experience working at the Calgary Drop-In Centre as an Adult Care Worker. After spending summer of 2016 at W21C researching best practices in the ICU, Hasham returns as a full-time Research Assistant working on the Care 2 Connect project. Hasham’s long term goals include a career in Public Health working with the marginalized population and improving the healthcare system for them. His personal interest includes travelling and supporting his favorite sports teams: Arsenal FC, Calgary Flames and Toronto Blue Jays.
