Man Running – A film by Gary Burns

A physician runs in an exhausting 24-hour, 100-mile ultra-marathon through mountainous landscape as he avoids and reflects on a high stakes medical decision

The film screening will be followed by a panel discussion around health humanities to support a deeper understanding of being human, mental illness, addiction, and the stresses of the medical profession. Panelists are Janet de Groot MD, Tom Rosenal MD, Valerie Taylor MD, Jane Lemaire MD, and Terrie Brandon MD.
