Realize the possible.
UCalgary researchers, clinicians, postdocs, grad students and staff are invited to apply for a chance to win up to $100K to turn their health research into a commercial product.
TENET Innovation to Commercialization (TENET i2c) is a business pitch competition that became possible thanks to a generous donation from Ken Moore, former president of TENET Biomedical Engineering.
TENET i2c is an eight-month competition designed to help launch a commercially viable project related to the health field. Interested teams and individuals are invited to apply between September 1 and October 30, 2017. Those who are shortlisted will undergo entrepreneurial training with Innovate Calgary, and be paired with mentors from the Calgary business community. Upon completion of the training program, successful applicants will be invited to pitch their ideas at a final event on May 8, 2018, with a chance of winning up to $100,000 to help commercialize their product.
