Presentation Summary: This presentation will focus on the psychosocial factors and resources that support psychological health and safety for staff and faculty at University of Calgary.

Learning Objectives
After this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Introduce 13 psychosocial factors supporting health and safety in the workplace.
  2. Update on implementation of the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.
  3. Discuss University of Calgary resources supporting psychological health and safety.
  4. Discuss some of the unique challenges of working in an academic environment/culture.

The W21C Journal Club+ is a self-approved group learning activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification program of the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
