Amanda completed her postsecondary schooling at the University of Calgary, beginning with an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with a Biomedical Specialization, followed by a thesis-based Master’s in Biomedical Engineering. Prior to joining W21C, she worked on numerous biomedical research projects at the Alberta Children’s Hospital. Amanda’s research experience includes recruiting adult and pediatric research participants for brain development and neuroimaging studies, as well as magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanning. Outside of work, she can be found spending time with her family, playing guitar, and gardening.
