Amr holds a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of Calgary. During his undergraduate degree, he worked with the Calgary Stroke Program supporting local and international clinical trials, patient recruitment, study coordination, and data operations. His work is shaped by a deep passion for advancing healthcare and driving innovation that improves patient outcomes. Beyond clinical research, Amr contributes to advancing community mental health and well-being. Through the Faculty of Social Work at the University of Calgary, he helps facilitate Meals That Last: an on-campus cooking program for male-identifying students that builds practical life skills and encourages open conversations around healthy masculinity. He also hosts The Bloomers Podcast, a platform dedicated to dismantling the stigma surrounding mental health. In his spare time, Amr enjoys hiking, podcasting, gaming, dancing, and baking.
