Connie recently completed her Master of Biomedical Technology at the University of Calgary, after graduating with a Bachelor of Medical Sciences at the University of Western Ontario in 2017. Her research background primarily resides in the realm of lung physiology, having worked on projects investigating effects of mechanical ventilation on acute lung injury patients, at the University of Toronto and University of Western Ontario. She was also fortunate enough to have spent a summer at the Manipal Institute of Technology in India, developing a computational pathway model for type II diabetes pathogenesis. Connie’s additional interests lie in health promotion, patient advocacy, and global volunteerism. Outside of work, she can occasionally be found complaining about runs and more than occasionally, snacking on food.
