Corrie is a visual designer and researcher, recently graduated with a Bachelor of Communications from Mount Royal University, specializing in Information Design and minoring in Marketing. With a passion for continuous learning and solving complex challenges, she focuses on the application of empathy-driven and human-centred design thinking. Corrie’s experience has centred on community and innovation-based learning, with a portfolio highlighting efforts within advocacy spaces and a commitment to impactful design. She has applied this knowledge and expertise to positions within Alberta Health Services, City of Calgary Innovation Lab, and the Indigenous Primary Health Care & Policy Research Network in Alberta. She strives to be a changemaker, challenging systems that overlook lived experiences, and harnesses her role as a designer to effect meaningful change. Outside of work, she loves to read way too many books, go to fitness classes, and spend time with family and friends.
