Courtney is a Professional Engineer with the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Alberta, having graduated from the University of Calgary with a BSc. in Engineering. Prior to working with W21C she had undertaken a wide variety of projects from multiple industries. This includes managing the design and manufacturing of renewable energy equipment (hydrokinetic turbines) and developing customized solutions in both the brush and golf industries. In her free time she has helped organize multiple “make-a-thons” to create assistive technology for people with disabilities. Courtney has a strong interest in innovation, particularly when it is directed to improving quality of life. She is currently helping contribute to the future of healthcare with W21C’s human factors team.
Outside of work, Courtney enjoys reading, writing, painting, archery tag, playing with her two cats, and eating far too much candy.
