Doyin is a dedicated healthcare professional with extensive knowledge and experience within the healthcare field. She obtained her MBBS degree from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria. She practiced as a general practitioner for three years before relocating to Canada in 2020. She has designed and implemented various personalized treatment plans for people living with various medical conditions such as hypertension, heart failure, diabetes mellitus, asthma, malaria, sickle cell anaemia, meningitis and so on. She is also passionate about mental health awareness and advocacy. She has been an active participant of different community outreach programs in Sub-Saharan Africa aimed at educating people on the practices that will improve their general health. Prior to W21C, she worked on a Phase 4 clinical trial at the Mathison Centre for Mental Health Research and Education, University of Calgary. Doyin enjoys dancing, cooking and spending time with her family during her spare time.
