Dailys is an anthropologist and a health sciences researcher. She has a strong background in qualitative research techniques, but also in quantitative and mixed-method research. Her research experience and interest range widely from critical medical anthropology, quality improvement, and social determinants of health.
She was educated and trained in Cuba where she obtained a PhD in Health Sciences and recently finished her postdoctoral training at the Alberta Children’s Hospital where she studied team performance during simulated pediatric resuscitation. As part of her training, she assessed compliance with resuscitation guidelines, CPR quality, and team performance.
