Julia holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Calgary. Her interests in the field focus on forensic and behavioral psychology, as well as ecotherapy. During her degree, Julia gained an immense knowledge of research practice and mental health and employed that in developing her own projects in the UofC Behavioural Neuroscience laboratory as well as at Utrecht University where she studied cross cultural perceptions of depression. Outside of work, Julia volunteers at a 24-hour support and crisis intervention line, as well as a Mentor at the Calgary Youth Offenders Center.  In her role at W21C, she works alongside the Human Factors team and supports a variety of projects.
