Julie completed her master’s degree in Molecular and Cellular Biology at Pierre and Marie Curie University (Paris, France). After successfully completing a diploma in Clinical Research Management, she started working as a Clinical Research Assistant at St. Antoine’s Hospital (Assistance Publique – Hôpitaux de Paris). Interested in learning more about this field, Julie worked for four years as a Clinical Research Associate in the pharmaceutical industry. Here she had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, mainly in Oncology. She participated in several audit and inspection preparations, and was able to grow professionally through activities such as research contract management and over-cost billing. Prior to W21C, Julie worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator at the Research Institute of McGill University Health Centre in Montreal.
Outside of work, Julie enjoys recreational activities like swimming, and volunteering at animal shelters. You can also find her on a bike or hiking trail, exploring nature with her camera.
