Laura holds a bachelor’s degree in biomedical science from Brigham Young University in Idaho. Previously she worked as a data entry specialist for the Clinical Research Unit at the University of Calgary. In this role she developed questionnaires, and entered data for the BK:KIDNI trial and the Brain in Motion study. Laura previously volunteered at the Foothills Hospital in units 71/72 where she supported patients with activities to support mental health. Laura is a research assistant at W21C supporting the clinical trials team, where she is currently supporting the PREPARE and Fit After Surgery projects. Outside of work, every Saturday night, she teaches salsa and bachata, and plays soccer weekly.
