Madeline brings a unique blend of behavioral science expertise and hands-on research operations to the team, with a strong interest in user experience (UX) research and translating data-driven insights into seamless project execution. In her previous research coordination work, her focus centered on large-scale event coordination, stakeholder engagement, and operational data management. Her practical approach to operations is deeply connected to her academic background: she completed her BA in Psychology at the University of Calgary and her MA in Psychology at York University, and she is currently in the final year of her PhD in Social Psychology at the City University of New York (CUNY), where her research focuses on understanding the psychological factors that impact solutions to social and systemic inequality. As Centre Operations Lead, Madeline supports the day-to-day operations of both CHI and W21C. Outside of work, Madeline enjoys cooking, trying new recipes, reading, and spending time around animals.
