Mariam has a Master’s degree in Immunology and a Diploma in Biochemistry. She brings to W21C over eight years of experience in clinical and quality improvement research across both CRO and hospital settings. Her work has involved leading and managing projects in oncology, obstetrics and gynecology, and other specialized fields. Mariam is certified through SOCRA and has completed the Leadership Empowerment Emerging program at London Health Sciences Centre, as well as the Project Management Foundations Certificate at the University of Calgary. These experiences have strengthened her skills in leadership, project coordination, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. Outside of her professional life, Mariam enjoys walks with her dog, enjoying nature, reading, meditating, and practicing yoga.
