Mauro Chies, MBA, is the former CEO of Alberta Health Services; Canada’s first and largest single health authority in the country. Mauro has also served as a senior Executive/Vice President with portfolios that included Pharmaceuticals, Diagnostic Imaging, Infection prevention Control and was the founding CEO and Board Chair of Alberta Precision Labs; Canada’s first integrated provincial lab network. Mauro received his MBA through the University of Athabasca and also holds an Honorary Bachelor of Technology from NAIT. His career has been centrally focused on health system delivery models of care, and working with non for profit life sciences organizations.
