Michelle Wright is the Program Manager of the Clinical Trials portfolio at the W21C Research and Innovation Centre. Michelle is an experienced research manager blending academic training in economics and business administration with hands-on experience in clinical trial operations. For the past 15 years, she has worked with AHS and the University of Calgary specializing in improving fiscal and operational performance in the clinical research environment.  She leads a national working group to expedite clinical research in Canada and lectures on budget and contract negotiations. Recently, Michelle has completed Professional, Strategic and Project Management training at the University of Calgary.

Outside of work, Michelle volunteers with the Tails of Help organization as their Grant Administrator. Her personal interests include mountain biking, hiking, and skiing.
