Nashit holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Bangladesh and a Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. He is currently a PhD student at the University of Calgary, with a research focus on the health and well-being of marginalized communities. Nashit has over four years of experience as a research assistant at the University of Calgary, where he has contributed to numerous qualitative and quantitative studies on population and public health topics. He also has about three years of experience in evaluation and health promotion research. His expertise includes community-engaged research, data analysis, knowledge translation, and project management, and is skilled at building relationships, listening to diverse perspectives, and converting ideas into actionable insights. He aims to improve healthcare and outcomes for the diverse Canadian community through innovative, equitable research approaches. He Outside of work, Nashit enjoys racquet sports and spending time with his family.
