Negar attended the University of Toronto where she earned her Honours Bachelor of Science degree, majoreing in Nutritional Sciences and Human Biology . She then moved to Calgary and completed her Master’s in Biomedical Technology at the University of Calgary. During her studies, Negar became involved in various academic and professional positions, such as research involving the biochemistry of protein folding and the relation between female health & nutrition. She also loves to be a part of leadership experiences. One that has significantly impacted her was being a part of a non-profit, Iranian student association, where she also served as president. In her daily life, Negar enjoys doing nature photography (for which she has a photo blog), reading books, playing tennis, and doodling with a rollerball pen (more specifically known as Zendoodling).
