Sachin Pendharkar, MD, is a respirologist and sleep physician. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Community Health Sciences. Dr. Pendharkar received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario and Internal Medicine training at the University of Toronto before completing Respirology and Sleep Medicine fellowships and a Master of Science in Health Services Research at the University of Calgary. Dr. Pendharkar’s research program focuses on the design and evaluation of innovative models of care to improve access to health services, primarily for sleep disorders. His research incorporates concepts from health care operations research related to patient flow and health system efficiency.
