Salomé completed her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences and is currently enrolled in the Master of Biomedical Technology program, both at the University of Calgary. She works alongside Breast Cancer Canada as a PROgress Representative and was one of the first few members of the organization to establish the Calgary regional hub. Her role involves interacting with both patients and oncologists to record treatments and the health status of patients to provide better outcomes for new research initiatives. Her passion for the health sector and improving the patient-doctor dynamic prompted her to join W21C. Outside of academia, Salomé enjoys painting, reading, baking, and is an avid pen enthusiast.
