Zhairah is a designer and researcher currently finishing her Bachelor of Communications in Information Design at Mount Royal University. Her mission is to create impact through design, and she believes there couldn’t be a better place to do that than in healthcare. At the Taylor Lab in the University of Calgary, Zhairah developed the lab’s logo, brand identity and created communication materials to support clinical trial engagement. Her work explores how visual communication, systems thinking, and evidence-based design can transform complex research into clear and meaningful experiences. She focuses on designing systems that help people better understand and engage with health information. Outside of design, Zhairah enjoys hiking and snowboarding in the mountains. A fun fact about her is that she speaks four languages.
